Russian Knights
Russia
The Russian Knights (Russkiye Vityazi) are the national aerobatic team of the Russian Aerospace Forces, founded in 1991 and based at Kubinka Air Base near Moscow. They are one of very few teams in the world to fly close-formation aerobatics in heavy fighters, starting with the Su-27 and later converting to newer Flanker-family fighters such as the Su-30SM. They often fly together with the MiG-29s of the Swifts team as the combined "Kubinka Diamond" formation and have performed at airshows abroad many times.
