The Su-57 is a twin-engine fifth-generation stealth multirole fighter developed by Sukhoi in Russia. Its T-50 prototype first flew in 2010, and its NATO reporting name is "Felon". It combines a stealthy airframe and internal weapons bays with thrust-vectoring engines that give it exceptional super-manoeuvrability. At Airshow China 2024 in Zhuhai, the Su-57 flew its first display in China, including the famous "falling leaf" manoeuvre, and was one of the highlights of the show.
