Boeing P-8A Poseidon

The P-8A Poseidon is a maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare aircraft developed by Boeing from the 737-800 airliner, in US Navy service since 2013 as the replacement for the P-3 Orion. Equipped with advanced search radar, sonobuoys and electronic sensors, it flies anti-submarine, anti-surface warfare, maritime reconnaissance and intelligence missions, and can carry torpedoes and anti-ship missiles. Besides the US Navy, the P-8 is operated by the Royal Air Force, Australia, India, Norway, Germany and others, making it one of the most advanced maritime patrol aircraft today.
