Bristol Blenheim
Bristol Aeroplane Company
Bomber · Europe
The Bristol Blenheim is a twin-engine light bomber developed by the Bristol Aeroplane Company, first flown in 1936 and, when it entered service, faster than many of the RAF's fighters of the day. In the early years of World War II it was one of the RAF's main light bombers, flying bombing, reconnaissance and night-fighter missions, and it was also built in Canada as the Bolingbroke. Only one airworthy Blenheim remains in the world today, operated by the Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford, making it one of the rarest warbirds on the airshow circuit.
